Such manufacturing processes include:

• Positive mold technology—the backing plate and friction material are bonded together by extreme pressure. This allows for a consistent and dense material.
• OE backing plate design machined to ensure correct pad fitment
• OEM or OEM equivalent material formula
• notched for shims
• correct hardware installed (ie sensor wires where applicable)
